Welcome to Peninsula Mobile Veterinary Clinic

Dear Friends,

After almost 20 years, it is time for the PMVC clinic vehicle to retire. This decision has been hard and a long time coming, but the time is right.  The mounting frequency and costs of maintenance have made it too difficult and expensive to keep the vehicle going. It’s time to start the practice remix I have been thinking about for a long time. The mobile clinic, which has given so many memories and seen so many animals, is done. I, however, am not.

Starting in 2026, Peninsula Mobile Vet will begin transitioning to a primarily in-home euthanasia practice. The vehicle will be fully decommissioned by summer. This change will enable me to continue to be a veterinarian as well as provide the space to enjoy the many other aspects of life that have fallen away in the 32 years since vet school, like music, travel, and time with my wife.

We’ll make sure your pets are up to date on vaccines and any other needs going into the new year to make the transition to other practices as easy as possible. There are a few pets, particularly older patients with complex needs, that will take longer. I will continue to provide ongoing care for these on a case-by-case basis.

Please feel free to call me with any questions, and assistance with transferring care of your pets.

I’d like to thank you all for almost 20 years of allowing me to serve you and your pets. We have shared a lot of joy and a lot of sorrow. These incredible creatures have made all our lives richer, and I have treasured my relationships with all of you and your furry loved ones.

I wish you all the best,
Dr. Bill Larson
